Hello everyone,

We are receiving more and more calls to our helpline about members' problems claiming benefits.

As a result we are going to be doing more campaigning around this issue and I am looking for members to get in touch with me to share their stories. This is especially valid as the new ESA50 and medical (Work Capability Assessment) descriptors which came into force on the 28th March 2011,and with the migration of IB claimants to ESA , who will come under the new , stricter, ESA descriptors.
Haven't seen any yet , but anyone making a fresh ESA now, or having a reassessment ,or being migrated to ESA from IB will be medically assessed under the new rules.
I am on IB and know the system inside out and i am worried about it :O

heres mine .
I had a interview for job centre for the sick pay thing .As i was still sending in sick notes .
they said why don,t i claim DlA which i did and got it as at time quite poorley .And just about too start MTX

GOT IT after a lady helped me do the form .
after this i had hydro theapy and helped my self /2/3 times a week with help for the Dla which abled me to go which its for to help you ,

i did the hydo in a warm pool att the health club .
Along came a chap at my door asking to see me spot check and by then i was moblie again and walking .
So he said well you don,t need it now and stopped it .But it would had stopped anyway after 2 years

so thats my story
